Is February being good to you so far?
I’m continuing my Five Favourites series this month to quickly share the things rocking my world each month - from beauty and home finds to baby stuff and culture. Here’s what I'm loving this month…
These tubes of wonder have been rocking my world now that the cold snap has made an appearance.
In 'Queen Elizabeth Sugar' and 'Nefertiti Honey' are so beautifully packaging, soothing on the skin with a thick texture and smell divine.
Each piece in this line is named for a royal figure. Both of these body butters are enriched with Kings & Queen's 'Royal Mix' - a blend of Pomegranate, Blue Egyptian Lotus and Malachite Extract with rich Hazelnut, Grape, Sunflower and Avocado oils. Yum!
Wax Lyrical Day at the Spa Candle
With the nights still so long and the days so gloomy, candles are an essential for adding a bit of cheer and calm into your day and making the house smell gorgeous.
Over Christmas I burnt a lot of wintery, berries and cinnamon type aromas, so it's great to get in something fresher for the new year.
A Day at the Spa blows all the cobwebs away. The scent is fresh and floral, so it's perfect. I also love the silver lid on the jar, because as well as preserving the scent, it keeps the candle looking tidy when it's half burnt!
Mulberry Bayswater tote
So this one was a very special Christmas gift from my lovely husband, and it had to feature here because it's something I've always wanted.
It's an absolute classic that will never date, and the perfect spacious tote for the office or my new mummy duties. I live that he chose the bitter chocolate leather because you see the oak shade everywhere, and it's also a pretty versatile shade for summer or winter.
I was so thrilled when I opened it, but what was almost better than the bag was the little note he popped in there saying that he and our son were really proud of me- priceless!
Lotus Biscoff Crunchy Spread
A recent find of mine that I'm absolutely loving is this spread. So you know those tasty little spicy biscuits you always get in the cafe on the side of your cappuccino? I love them!
And this is those in spreadable form. YUM! Perfect for topping pancakes or waffles on a lazy Sunday.
Ardell Naturals Invisible Demi Wispies
They just make such a difference to how I feel, and even if it's been a difficult night with the baby, they only take two minutes to pop on (usually while I'm feeding him!) but makes me feel all jollied up. My theory is nice lashes distract from the dark circles!
I usually don't wear much other make-up with them, and I don't put mascara on, so I need lashes that look fairly natural - like my own but better. These beauties from Ardell are my current faves.
There's a clear band, so you don't have to worry about disguising it with tons of eyeliner. They're a full enough style to add impact, but not so dense they look over the top for day. The wispy, feathery finish also makes them seem a lot more natural and gives a really pretty look to the eye.
So those are my February favourites - what are you loving at the moment?
