It’s Glossybox’s birthday this month, so they’re celebrating with extra products, but they missed me out!
At first, I wasn’t very pleased with this month’s Glossybox as it seemed a bit scanty, but then I realised one of my full-sized products had been missed out. I haven’t had this problem with Glossybox before, and of course I’m a bit disappointed.
I’ve contacted their customer services about it, who are being quite slow to respond. So I thought I’d post my review anyway, but it is missing something, which was the full size of the Essence I love Extreme Volume mascara.
I’m a little bit disappointed about this because I would have liked to try that, hopefully they can sort me out!
Anyway, what I did get was generally good but seemed a little stingy…
If you've read my 'Life Update' post, you'll be up to speed with why we had to cancel our planned break to Cuba and I ended up settling for something perhaps a little less glamourous, but certainly just as fun!
I'm lucky enough to have family living in West Cornwall, including my mum, so I can escape down there when I need a break. I ended up driving down last Friday for a few days of relaxation, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Due to the last minute decision, Seb couldn't get the time off arranged to come with me, so it was a solo road trip down there.
Hello my lovelies!
It's another nosey parker post today, showing you what I packed in my suitcase for a little trip down south to Cornwall. Seeing as everyone seemed to like my 'What's in my beauty bag?' post, and also as I really love reading posts of this kind, I decided to do another similar one about what I packed.
This year has been a little weird. We were planning a two week holiday to Cuba next month, but as I mentioned in my Life Update post, plans have changed and that's not an option anymore. So instead I went down for a week in West Cornwall, where some of my family live and the packing was rather different - no bikinis this time, even with the warm weather we've been having.
I do not have the packing light gene, but I tried my level best to be really selective with my choices, and to put together a capsule case that would give me a few options, without being the seventeen pairs of sandals I normally end up taking!

Hi Dolls!
Just a quick note....I feel like I haven't posted or been around on the blogging 'scene' for ages, so I thought I would do just a quick update on life in general and tell you about a couple of great posts coming up!
Life has just taken over for the past couple of weeks. First of all, after over a year of trying to move house, it looks like it might finally be happening (cue excited squeals!). Last time I posted an update, we'd pretty much given up hope and starting looking into extending our current house instead, but it turned out to be too expensive for us to do.
But just when we were despairing....a breatkthrough!
As soon as I saw these, I wanted to get my hands on some. They struck me as a brilliant high-street dupe for YSL Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stain.
They’re the same concept – a hybrid of lipstick, gloss and stain, and also moisturising. Sounds like the ultimate lip product, right?
Hello lovely people!
Today I've decided to post a delve into my everyday make-up bag. I'm hugely nosey, and I absolutely lovely reading these kinds of posts, so I thought I would do my own!
Like most make-up addicts, this bag only represents a small proportion of my too-large collection. On my dresser, I keep a perspex unit that houses most of my current favourite eyeshadows, palettes and lipsticks, so you'll notice there aren't many of these items in the bag here.
This bag contains all the items I need for my 'everyday' make-up - a sort of basic face if you will. If I need to travel, I can just grab this one bag, and it has all of my cosmetic essentials, although I'd usually pack at least one palette and throw in a few lipsticks as well.
